Tapofix manufactures wallpapering tools for DIY enthusiasts and professional tradesmen. In the application to be automated, a person manually applies sealant to a metal part in a predetermined mould.

Problem
A person applies the sealant by hand. The precise application of the sealant requires a great deal of concentration and is time-consuming.

Tapofix has assembled its solution itself from modular components, a room linear robot and a dryin E motor control unit. The advantages of automation are a more precise and faster application of the sealant. The system works in parallel with an employee, who can carry out other tasks at the same time. In addition, all employees can operate the robot as the handling is so simple.
