igubal P pillow block bearing – Traditional cast iron housing meets modern plastic technology

The igubal P pillow block bearing combines a traditional cast iron housing with a spherical insert bearing made of tribologically optimised plastic. This combination dispenses with the need for external lubrication, as the solid lubricants integrated into the spherical insert bearing ensure permanent lubrication. The standard spherical insert bearing is made of iglidur J, although other materials are available upon request.

This pillow block bearing offers a service life in dirty environments that is up to eight times longer than that of traditional ball bearings. It can absorb higher static loads and reduces costs by eliminating maintenance or downtime, for example due to lack of lubrication. Furthermore, up to 25% of costs can be saved through a simple bearing replacement.

The igubal P pillow block bearing is an efficient and cost-effective solution that combines the advantages and specifications of a tribologically optimised plastic bearing insert with a low-cost sheet metal housing. It offers high reliability and durability, even in demanding environments.
