Compact and safe

The system operates very silent now.

This patient positioning and imaging system is used in the radiotherapy. It consists of a linear axis mounted to the ceiling, a robot, optimized for radiotherapie and an X-ray unit, mounted on a patient couch. The guiding of numerous cables and conduits is hindered by a limited ceiling height and the compact covering of the positioning system. The building height could be reduced without losing functionality by using an e-chain® of the series 3400 from igus®. A triflex® R chain guides the cables at rotaional movements perfectly and without torsion.
