The carbon SAW linear module in lightweight construction

Very lightweight, very robust

The design of the drylin® linear module SAW is based on the lubrication-free drylin® W linear guide with a carbon rail profile and a dry-tech® linear carriage. The lead screw can be configured with steel/stainless steel or hard anodised aluminium. The innovative use of carbon reduces the rail weight by approx. 25% compared to aluminium.

Lead screw materials

All drylin® linear modules can be delivered with self-locking steel and stainless steel trapezoidal lead screws; upon request, they can also be made from hard coated aluminium. The SHT, SLW and SAW ranges can also be configured with stainless steel high helix lead screws. This allows much higher pitches and drive speeds, but without the self-locking feature.

Digital position indicator

The electronic position indicator (battery operated) for drylin® linear modules can be freely programmed for the individual thread pitch in each case. Ideal for use with dryspin® high helix threads. LCD display with 5 digits and special characters, long battery life and easy battery change without removal of the device.
