igus provides customised curved rails for the drylin  W product range. This is especially for the requirements in operating ergonomics, e. g. guiding monitors and control systems in a radius to ensure safe and easy accessibility. Even in stage technology or in the driver's cab of commercial vehicles, where monitors need to be easily accessible, completely new standards can be set in terms of design and construction. The new curved guides in installation size 06 are available as a semicircle. For cornering, you can achieve tight radii of up to 100mm thanks to the carriage's flexible three-point bearing. Radii of up to 75mm are even available for concave or convex rails. A slim monobloc linear carriage with four bearing points ensures easy adjustment.In larger dimensions, the igus curved guides prove their worth, e.g. in in-house trade show construction. Last year, igus designed a trade show machine with large screens that move around a circular base.
