The igus Apiro rotary linear system is part of the modular drygear Apiro gearbox system, which was developed for flexible and cost-effective automation solutions. Here are some of the main features:
- Modularity: The modular Apiro gearbox system allows for the simple combination of rotary and linear movements. This makes it ideal for applications in the packaging, food and medical industries.
- Versatility: The rotary linear system can be used for rotary table applications, swivelling tables or rotary axes. Typical areas of application are laboratory automation and trade show construction.
- Light and efficient: The product is made from lubrication-free high-performance plastic that offers high efficiency and long service life.
- Drive options: The table can be operated both by hand or by motor, which allows it to be adapted to different applications.
- Application examples: From simple swivel movements to complex robotics kinematics, the Apiro rotary linear table offers numerous possible applications.
Control systemThe igus Robot Control allows for simple and intuitive robot control and programming, offering an easy way to get started with automation. The modular design makes it possible to control different igus kinematics, such as delta robots. Operators can use our igus® Robot Control with all its advantages to control the linear robot.
The free-of-charge, licence-free igus Robot Control software is integrated into the control system and thus based on a uniform operating concept and consistent communication services for many components of a system. This results in reduced project planning effort and faster commissioning.
The igus Robot Control is not part of the product and can be purchased from us as an option. A master control system is not necessary.
You can also use your own (robot) control system.
Alternatively, you can operate each axis individually with a control system, e.g. our igus D1 dryve motor control system. This control system architecture requires one motor control system per linear axis or motor and an additional master control system that controls the coordination of the movement. You must then program the inverse kinematics for the delta robot yourself in your development environment.
The motor control systems are not part of the product and can be ordered from us as an option. igus does not offer a master control system at the moment.
Optional accessoriesInitiators, connection cables, energy chains and control systems are available upon request.
